We would like to introduce our newest staff member,
Hiram joined HOPE City staff in January as the facilitator of our new program, "Nurturing Father's".
Hiram was born and raised in Florida and has been happily married to his beautiful wife Anne for 36 years. They have four children and five grandkids whom they just adore.
After working as a middle and high school teacher in Alaska (where he met his bride) he then began to work for Juvenile Hall in the Bay area, and was there until he retired three years ago when they moved to Redding.
When asked why he wanted to work with HOPE City, he responded, "I love people and have always been involved in the communities in which we've lived. I see HOPE City working in the community helping people restore their lives and I wanted to be part of that effort." Hiram also noted how much he loves being a dad and a grandfather. In facilitating our Nurturing Father's program Hiram will have the opportunity to put his years of experience as a father, working in Juvenile Hall and as a teacher, to come along side fathers who are struggling in their relationships with their children. He is looking forward to starting the first round of this 13-week program at the end of February.
If you would like to come in to discuss this program and/or to meet Hiram just call our office to set up an appointment, (530) 351-7544.
